I have a very strong dislike for pacesetter headers. This is not to say that all pacesetter products suck but I for one can tell you that the headers for the PGT/MX6 are JUNK….JUNK JUNK JUNK.

Look at this picture (you can zoom in) the ports on the pacesetters are actually smaller than the ports on the exhaust manifold. Look at how crappy the ports are formed…not even balanced.

Below you can see how the gasket fits on the factory manifold. The picture below that shows how it fits on the header… notice on the header that it doesn’t even come close to being lined up.

The last picture shows the high quality weld job on the headers. This is the product I have ever purchased. I hated them so much I went through the trouble of removing them from the car.

Not only did they hurt my performance…(robbed me of 6 HP on the dyno) …but they also sounded like total ASS. I suggest porting the factory exhaust manifold and having a custom downpipe made at your favorite exhaust shop.

Lastly for all those concerned about AF reading…the pacesetters have the O2 sensor located in a spot where you can read only one cylinder from each bank instead of the entire bank all at once.
